This section introduces to its readers Japanese rope bondage techniques known as nawa shibari, the product of many centuries of Japanese tradition. Ancient practices, as well as the latest developments in the various subdivisions of the field, will be explained. This section draws upon the expertise of Masters Randa Mai and Shiko Shima, charismatic teachers and performers of Japanese bondage techniques.
